Attribute Scales Tool™

Once you've defined the success factors for an objective, from the Attribute groupings, the software creates a horizontal scale for viewing. The vertical line in the middle represents the median of the Attribute that you selected, covering all profiles in the ANSIR® database.

Over top of these averages, we place markers (lines) so that you can compare them to the average person. The blue line represents the subject client and indicates their current (self-expressed) level of contribution, based on Profiler™ results. The gold line represents the potential contribution of the subject client, based on ANSIR® research. It can differentiate betweeen individuals with the potential for competence, from those with the potential for excellence.

Consider the first example, how Jordan ranks on the Attribute "Deliberation." You immediately learn three things from the scale:

  • How the average person ranks on that Attribute.
  • How Jordan ranks on this Attribute which indicates confidence: The extent to which Jordan can be relied upon to consistently display the strengths and tendencies inherent with his self-drawn profile. This is the blue line — Jordan's expressed willingness to contribute.
  • Jordan's potential contribution on this Attribute. This is the gold line. This shows where a person of Jordan's ANSIR® profile would show on the scale if s/he were fully confident: Fully identified with and could be relied upon to consistently display the strengths and tendencies inherent with that profile.
